Girl, 12, abducted by gang of men on way home from school

    A 12-year-old girl was allegedly abducted by a gang of four men as she walked home from school in the West Midlands. The youngster told police she was forced into a black taxi in Teasdale Way, a suburban street in the Pedmore area of Stourbridge at 3.15pm on Thursday. The girl said she was driven around for 90 minutes before the car stopped in nearby Clent and she was able to get out and escape. A member of the public found her and helped to call the police, West Midlands Police said. Local schools have warned parents and pupils to be vigilant following the alleged abduction. Saudi Arabia offers reward for reporting illegal expatriates

    Security authorities in Saudi Arabia said they would reward anyone who reports residency or labour violations involving expatriates. The reward could reach up to 50,000 Saudi Riyals, Jamaan Bin Ahmad Al Ghamidi, consultant to public security, said at a town hall meeting with officials, tribe leaders, and education and media figures in Al Baha in the south west of the kingdom. King Salman gives citizenship to Zakir Naik to rescue him from Indian wrath

    Indian Islamic preacher, Dr Zakir Naik, who is wanted by authorities in Delhi for alleged terrorist offences, has been granted citizenship by Saudi Arabia. Arab sources reported that King Salman had intervened to grant Naik Saudi citizenship to protect him from arrest by the International Police Organisation, Interpol. Last month, Indian courts issued a second arrest warrant for Dr Naik in connection with his alleged role in a terror-related case and over money laundering allegations.
