May irritating Tory leadership speculation as Boris launches another furious attack on her Brexit plan

The Prime Minister swiped at the ambitious former foreign secretary as she insisted that her Chequers blueprint is the only alternative to crashing out of the block without a deal. The defiant message came amid claims that the EU is preparing to make concessions on the crucial Irish border issue accepting that technology can be used to avoid friction that could be undermining the Good Friday Agreement. Mrs May is heading into conference season battling for a deal with Brussels while openly criticising her former foreign secretary for the first time as MPs vie to replace her. Tonight on BBC Panorama the Prime Minister will say that it will be her Chequers deal or no deal and insisted she was focused on the country's future rather than her own. She also promised t...

French President facing fresh criticism about jobseeker advice

French President Emmanuel Macron was facing fresh criticism Sunday after telling an aspiring gardener that he could easily find a job if he would simply start looking in high-demand sectors like restaurants or construction. In a video doing the rounds on social media, Macron is seen talking with the young man during a public open house at the Elysee Palace on Saturday, part of the country's Heritage Days. The storm continued to crawl westward, dumping more than 30 inches of rain in spots since Friday, and fears of historic flooding grew. Tens of thousands were ordered evacuated from communities along the state’s steadily rising rivers — with the Cape Fear, Little River, Lumber, Waccamaw and Pee Dee rivers all projected t...

What’s the result comes up when google search date about Brexit

Brexit has dominated the political agenda since Britain voted to leave but it seems many people still do not know what it is or when it is happening. The most Googled question in the UK about the issue in the last two weeks was “when is Brexit?” followed by, rather worryingly,  what is Brexit?, the search engine has revealed. Perhaps unsurprisingly, one of the most searched for questions is about the complex Chequers plan for future relations with the EU. But the impact that quitting will have on house prices was also among the most Googled issues. Across the rest of the EU, Google was used to search what Brexit is and whether citizens from the rest of the bloc will need permission to live in Britain after it quits. Here are the most popular questions from the la...
