    A woman was killed and a man suffered serious leg injuries after a horse-drawn cart crash in Staffordshire on Sunday. Police were called at roughly 1.05pm on Sunday to the fatal collision in the town of Hilderstone, which is roughly eight miles south east from Stoke-on-Trent. The collision involved a blue, four-wheeled, horse-drawn carriage that was being pulled by a single brown horse in the direction of Stone, where the driver, 55, was from. He suffered serious leg injuries and a woman, 60, was flown to the Royal Stoke University Hospital which has a specilaist trauma centre but she was later pronounced dead.
