    A driver has been killed and two women injured in a crash after a police car chase through Manchester. The Mercedes S320 being driven by the 24-year-old man had "made off from the patrol car at speed", according to police. Following a "short pursuit" through Old Trafford, the vehicle collided with a Mini at the junction of Chester Road and Warwick Road South before striking a barrier. The man died at the scene while the two women in the Mini were taken to hospital with multiple injuries. The collision, which took place at around 3.30am on Sunday, has been referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC).     David Cameron has struck a deal with other EU leaders over Britain’s future in Europe after marathon talks in Brussels. Donald Tusk, President of the European Council announced the agreement after more than 24 hours of agonising discussions over British demands to curb benefits for migrant workers. “Unanimous support for new settlement for the UK in Europe,” he said after a final agreement was signed off at dinner of 28 EU members in Brussels. The agreement, which has yet to be published, is expected to see Britain compromise on key elements of Mr Cameron’s demands to restrict welfare payments to Eastern European workers.     Police were called by paramedics to a play area at the end of South Street in Wardleworth, Rochdale, on Thursday night. Officers attended and found a man believed to be in his late 40's to early 50's with a serious head injury. He was taken to hospital where he died a short time later. A major investigation has been launched to establish the circumstances surrounding how the man came to be injured. A statement from a local mosque read: The cause of his death is yet to be confirmed. "We recommend that you do not speculate but rather wait for the facts to be established by the police." A Home Office post mortem is due to take place later today.
