Khaleda Zia’s son Koko dies

    Arafat Rahman Koko, youngest son of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, died of cardiac arrest at a hospital in Malaysia on Saturday. BNP sources said Koko breathed his last around 12:30 pm (BST) as he was taken to a hospital in Kuala Lumpur after he complained of chest pain at his house.

RAB announces bounty for aids in arresting arsonists

    Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Saturday announced Tk1 lakh reward for the people who would help them to nab the anarchists, bombers and arsonists. RAB director general Benazir Ahmed came up with the announcement through a leaflet in the morning. According to the leaflet, the elite force announced Tk 10,000 to 25,000 bounty for the people who will give the right information about cocktail attackers and will help to nab them. Around Tk 20,000 will be given for information on petrol bomb attackers while 10,000 for providing photographs on vandalism, arson and crude bomb attack.
