Amir Khan’s wife reveals shocking details of struggle with her in-laws: I was attacked at eight months pregnant

Amir Khan’s wife has claimed she was attacked by his sister while carrying the boxer’s first child.

Tempers flared earlier this month when Faryal and Amir’s family came to blows over her choice of clothing and her faith – and the drama looks set to rage on.

In her latest in-dept interview, Faryal has opened up about an incident that left her terrified while she was living in the same house as her sister-in-law.

“She grabbed my hair and slapped my head. I was eight months’ pregnant,” she told Mail Online .

But it was such a shocking claim that the brunette beauty claims her husband didn’t even believe her at first, saying: ‘I told Amir but he didn’t believe me because he couldn’t believe me.'”

“I was so lonely and scared.”

Despite the shocking claims, Amir’s sister previously hit back at the suggestions she laid her hands on Farayl, saying: “Do I look like I can beat someone up?”

FameFlynet While Amir found himself caught in the middle, Faryal says that this all changed when he became a father.

She claims that the boxer felt hurt by his family’s behaviour and couldn’t understand why they were acting so badly toward her.

“He said: ‘I looked after my parents. Why am I being treated like this?’ They couldn’t’t deal with him wanting to be his own person and make his own decisions.”

“I’ve put up with so much emotional abuse. I will fight for Amir for ever and I will be with him for ever.”

Despite the toxic relationship she shares with her husband’s family, Faryal insists that she’s determined to put things right and raise awareness for other women in similar situations.

“There is, though, one thing I can be sure about: when we return to Bolton I am determined to raise awareness for young Muslim women. I would be a disgraced single mother with a two-year-old daughter if my husband hadn’t supported me.

“It was wrong the way they treated me — very wrong,” she added.
