    A taxi driver has been sentenced to life with a minimum term of 27 years for the murder of Glasgow shopkeeper Asad Shah. Tanveer Ahmed, 32, travelled from Yorkshire to confront Mr Shah about clips the shopkeeper had posted online which he said "disrespected the Prophet Muhammad". Watching a clip featuring Mr Shah on his phone as he made his way to Glasgow, Ahmed was heard in a message saying: "Listen to this guy. Something needs to be done. It needs nipped in the bud."     Three people have suffered serious injuries after an explosion destroyed a terraced house. Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service was called to the property in Curzon Road, Ashton under-Lyne, at around 5am on Tuesday and arrived to find the front and back of the building had collapsed.     The High Court on Monday ordered withdrawal of drugs of 34 pharmaceuticals as their medicines appeared sub-standard, court officials said. "The two-member bench of the High Court delivered the judgment in a public interest litigation case," an official of the court said, reports bss. He said all drugs of 20 pharmaceuticals companies and all antibiotic medicines produced by 14 other companies came under the preview of the judgment delivered by Justice Salma Masud Chowdhury and Justice Kazi Md.
