    A mother has died after she was cut in half in a hospital lift shortly after giving birth to her third daughter. Rocio Cortes Nunez was being transported on a stretcher to another floor of Our Lady of Valme Hospital in Seville, southern Spain, when she became trapped in the elevator. She had just given birth by C-section and was on her way to a maternity ward to recover and spend time with her newborn on Sunday, according to a report by El Correro. Her baby escaped unhurt, the newspaper said. She had two other girls, aged four and five-years-old, according to local media, which reported the 25-year-old had been decapitated in the horrific tragedy.     Isis has claimed responsibility for a stabbing attack in Russia that injured eight people, the group's Amaq news agency has said. An attacker was killed by police after knifing people in the Siberian city Surgut on Saturday morning. Russian authorities had earlier declined to comment on whether the incident was being treated as a terrorist attack. The state-owned RIA Novosti agency said two people were in critical condition in hospital. It happened at about 11.20am local time, Russia Today reported. Surgut, with a population of about 320,000, is an oil- and gas-producing centre 2,100km (1,300 miles) northeast of Moscow.
