News Desk: Attorney General Mahbubey Alam has said there is no chance to file a review petition against the Supreme Court verdict which upheld the tribunal’s verdict giving death penalty to Kamaruzzaman.
“There is no scope to file a review petition according to the International Crimes (Tribunal) Act, 1973″, he said.
He also said, “Although in the case of Abdul Quader Mollah the defence had filed a review petition, the High Court rejected it.”
The defence, however, said they would file a petition to review the verdict of the Appellate Division (AD).
