We have no idea who they are: Terrorists could enter Britain among refugees

The former defence secretary urged voters to reclaim Britain's "sovereignty" in the EU referendum, in order to protect the border as the European migration crisis grows. The threat from the migration crisis could be "much worse" than the sex attacks in Cologne, Liam Fox has said, as he warned that terrorists could enter Britain posing as refugees. The former defence secretary urged voters to reclaim Britain's "sovereignty" in the EU referendum, in order to protect the border as the European migration crisis grows. In the strongest attack from a senior Tory so far on the Prime Minister's pro-Europe campaign, Dr Fox told the Telegraph it was "beyond ridiculous" for David Cameron to claim that EU membership improved national security. He said Europe posed many threats to the ...

Jihadi Jack Letts interview: Former Oxford schoolboy calls on British people to convert to Islam as he brands David Cameron an evil creature

A former Oxford schoolboy has denied reports he has joined Isis in an exclusive interview with The Independent but labelled David Cameron an evil creature and described the US-led bombing of Syria as a diseased plot designed to kill off all Muslims one by one. In his first interview since reports accused him of becoming the first white British man to travel to Syria and join the jihadist group, Jack Letts insists he has travelled to the so-called Islamic State to spread the word of Allah and help "take down" the government of Bashar al-Assad. I can speak Arabic and English, he said. That’s like my only skill. I’ve spent efforts to take down the Syrian government. In the interview, conducted over messaging app Telegram, Mr Letts, who has been widely dubbed "Jihadi Jack", co...

ICC U19 World Cup: Bangladesh crush Scotland to move to quar-terfinals

Bangladesh Tigers today secured a huge 114-run win over Scotland to move to the quarter-finals of ICC U19 World Cup. After winning the toss at Cox's Bazar, Scottish skipper ND Flack sent Bangladesh to bat first. Dew on the pitch gave Scotland a good start: maiden over at the beginning and a wicket in the second over. However, Bangladesh opener Saif Hassan built a timely 101-run partnership with Nazmul Hossain Shanto. Saif went very slowly to keep the hosts in the match. He went back to the pavilion just one run short to his fifty in the last ball of 33rd over. His 49 came from 108 balls. On the other hand, Shanto maintained a better strike rate and built another brilliant 100-run stand with skipper Mehedi Hasan Miraz. Shanto remained unbeaten on 113 from 117 balls. Miraz c...

PM David Cameron Launches Double Attack On Racial Bias

David Cameron has launched a double attack on racial bias: in the courts and prisons and in Britain's elite universities. He has appointed a Labour MP, David Lammy, to hold an inquiry into why more black and ethnic minority criminals end up in prison that white offenders. And he is planning new laws to force universities like his own, Oxford, to reveal how many black applicants and students from poor backgrounds are accepted. "If you’re black, you're more likely to be in a prison cell than studying at a top university," said Mr Cameron. "There are no black generals in our armed forces and just 4% of chief executives in the FTSE 100 are from ethnic minorities. These examples should shame our nation and jolt us into action." "And if you're black, it seems you're more likely...

Hundreds of masked men beat refugee children in Stockholm

Hundreds of masked men marched through Stockholm's main train station on Friday evening, reportedly beating up refugees and anyone who didn't appear to be ethnically Swedish. Wearing all-black balaclavas and armbands, the men "gathered with the purpose of attacking refugee children," Stockholm police spokesperson Towe Hagg said. "I saw maybe three people who were beaten. That was no football brawl or something similar. They targeted migrants. I was quite scared and ran away," an eyewitness told the Aftonbladet newspaper. Before the attacks, the mob handed out leaflets with the slogan "It is enough now!" which threatened to give "the North African street children who are roaming around" the "punishment they deserve". The leaflet refers to the death of social worker Alexandr...
