Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will lay the foundation stone of an underpass adjacent to Shaheed Ramiz Uddin Cantonment College on the Airport Road in Dhaka today.

Earlier, the Premier made a commitment to construct the underpass following the tragic death of two students of the college.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the work on the Padma Bridge rail link on September 5 next. Railways Minister M Mazibul Hoque informed this while visiting the construction site of the Padma Bridge yesterday.

Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader visited the ongoing construction work of Elevated Expressway in the capital yesterday. During the visit, he informed the media that 25% of the construction work of the expressway has already been completed.
