The world was horrified this week by footage showing a young grinning boy aged just 11 executing Kurds in a sickening ISIS propaganda video.
Even more shocking was the revelation that the young lad, called Joe Dixon, is the son of British ISIS convert Sally Jones, 47.
Joe is the youngest child of Jones, who took her son on her ill-fated travels to the war-torn region in 2013.
The heart-warming images of the tot being cradled by his beaming mum are a far cry from the gruesome footage emerging this week of Joe dressed in ISIS uniform, wielding a gun before shooting a Kurdish prisoner in the back of the head.
Now his grandma has revealed how she felt “sick to the stomach” when she saw the barbaric images of her tiny grandson.
The distraught relative, who is in her 60s and wishes to remain anonymous for fear of being attacked by far-right Islamophobic groups, said: “If there is a God, why can’t he stop it?”
Family friends told the Mail Online: “It’s worse than being in mourning.”
The family have no lost all hope of ever seeing their brainwashed grandson again.
The light-skinned boy, dubbed Abu Abdullah Al-Britani in the sickening video, now goes by the name Umm Hussain Britaniyah.
His mum is originally from from Chatham, Kent, and was a guitarist in all-girl rock band Krunch. She reportedly lived on welfare and worked as a perfume saleswoman for L’Oreal.
The mum-of-two fled to Syria with her youngest son JoJo, who was born in December 2004.
The terrorists’s dead husband, Junaid Hussain, was the leader of the Islamic State’s “digi-jihad” hacking brigade until he was killed in a drone strike last year .
Following Hussain’s death in Raqqa, Syria, she tweeted that she was proud her “husband was killed by the biggest enemy of Allah”.
She added that she would “never love anyone but him”.
She is the only daughter of a greengrocer turned lorry driver.
Her older brother runs a business back in the UK – but refuses to speak about his sister.
On September 28, 2015, the United Nations sanctioned Jones as an agent operating on behalf of a terrorist organisation.
She has used her Twitter account to spread propaganda for the group, and has tweeted of her wish to behead a Western prisoner in Syria and behead Christians with a “blunt knife”.
Earlier this year the former punk rocker issued terrifying threats on social media as a response to US-led coalition airstrikes on ISIS forces in Syria and Iraq.
She wrote: “To be honest I wouldn’t go into Central London through June … or even July well to be honest I wouldn’t go there at all especially by Tube.”
Jones also wrote: “U can’t just sit there with ur tea & scones ordering RAF drone strikes on UK brothers with no comeback from the Islamic state.”
Jones is one of the world’s most wanted terrorists and is believed to be on a hit list of 20 jihadis who will be targeted by the SAS in Syria, according to a report citing military sources.
She is understood to have ordered “hackers” to compile a dossier showing the names and addresses of 76 of the most prominent unmanned flying vehicle (UAV) operators in the US Airforce.
It also emerged that Jones has been training women jihadis for attacks on the UK and Europe, and also encourages women to join the so-called Caliphate on social media.
She has also previously hinted that she wanted to find “paradise” by becoming an ISIS suicide bomber.
