Saudi King and Custodian of Two Holy Mosques Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has highly appreciated Bangladesh’s tremendous development under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and stressed the need for continuity of the Sheikh Hasina’s government.
The appreciation came as the Bangladesh Premier called on the Saudi King at the Royal Palace in Riyadh yesterday. The Saudi King said, if the continuity of the government of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is maintained, the relations between Saudi Arabia and Bangladesh would further be improved and development would be achieved on all sides.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has invited Saudi entrepreneurs to come to Bangladesh with business and technology for mutual benefits. The Premier made the invitation as she was holding a meeting with the leaders of the Council of Saudi Chamber and the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce at King Saud Guest Palace in Riyadh yesterday. The Bangladesh Premier while exchanging views assured the Saudi investors of full support and cooperation from her government.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina held a meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz at the Royal Palace in Arga in Riyadh last evening. During the meeting, the Premier and the Crown Prince discussed issues related to bilateral interests.

The Premier said this while addressing a function marking the inauguration of the newly-constructed Chancery Complex of Bangladesh Consulate at the Diplomatic Quarters in Riyadh yesterday.

The Prime Minister will depart Madinah for Jeddah this morning and lay the foundation stone of the Chancery Building of Bangladesh Consulate General there at noon. Later, the Premier will perform holy Umrah in Makkah after Esha prayers tonight. The Premier will leave Jeddah for home tomorrow.
