China intervenes to remove mistrust between Pakistan and Afghanistan

    The first round of China-Afghanistan-Pakistan Practical Cooperation Dialogue was held in Beijing on Saturday, Radio Pakistan has reported. The Dialogue was co-chaired by Director General Mansoor Ahmad Khan of Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Director General Xiao Qian from Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Director General Khalid Payenda of Afghan Ministry of Finance. Could A 100 Year Old Drug Treat Autism

    A 100-year-old drug may help improve the symptoms for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), including improvements in language and social interaction, according to a small study. Researchers at the University of California San Diego School of Medicine explored how suramin, a drug developed to treat African sleeping sickness, affects the core symptoms of ASD which there are currently no treatments for. A previous study on mice showed a temporary reversal in symptoms of ASD, so the researchers went on to test the effect of the drug on humans. Their trial included 10 boys, ages 5 to 14 years, all diagnosed with ASD.     A mass brawl involving around 50 people broke out on a packed BEACH in Kent as temperatures soared today. Emergency services rushed to reports of a 'punch up' in Margate at around 5.05pm. The air ambulance helicopter was forced to land on the sands amid the sunbathers - which is reported to have been supported by at least two other ambulances on the ground. A doctor and paramedic gave emergency treatment to a man at the scene who was then airlifted to the major trauma centre at King's College Hospital in London.
