    Theresa May is to unveil five new Brexit negotiating position papers in the coming days amid reports that cabinet ministers privately fear a decision on progressing on to trade talks with the European Union could be delayed until Christmas. In her first full week back in Downing Street following her three week holiday, the Prime Minister will release formal papers on key elements of the talks, including the jurisdiction of the European Court of Justice (ECJ), data protection, and goods and services after Brexit. Isis claims responsibility for stabbing rampage in Russia attack

    Isis has claimed responsibility for a stabbing attack in Russia that injured eight people, the group's Amaq news agency has said. An attacker was killed by police after knifing people in the Siberian city Surgut on Saturday morning. Russian authorities had earlier declined to comment on whether the incident was being treated as a terrorist attack. The state-owned RIA Novosti agency said two people were in critical condition in hospital. It happened at about 11.20am local time, Russia Today reported. Surgut, with a population of about 320,000, is an oil- and gas-producing centre 2,100km (1,300 miles) northeast of Moscow.
